Acba Bank and NABU launch free 2025 program for organic agriculture development

YEREVAN, June 4. /ARKA/. Acba Bank and the Armenian branch of the German “Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union” (NABU) are launching a free 2025 Organic Agriculture Development Program, the bank’s press service reported.

Organizations, farmers and agronomists recognized as winners in the announced competition will be able to obtain a certificate of organic food producer through joint financial and technical support from Acba Bank and the Armenian branch of NABU and significantly increase the prospects for exporting products.

Business entities interested in participating in the 2025 competition under the “Organic Agriculture Development” program can fill out an application until June 15 of this year.

Applications for participation in the program can be submitted by those business entities that are engaged in the production of organic food products or are ready to switch to it.

The joint free program “Organic Agriculture Development” of Acba Bank and the Armenian branch of NABU was launched in 2015 to promote the development of organic agriculture in Armenia and support producers in this sector.

Half of the required funding will be provided for Armenian certification alone, and the maximum amount of support for all types of organic certification will be 400,000 AMD. The remaining part of the total cost of certification must be covered by the beneficiary.
