Startups presented with successful experience of Acba Bank digital transformation

YEREVAN, July 23. /ARКА/. One of the most anticipated events in the Armenian tech community, Sevan Startup Summit, once again brought together startups, innovators, investors, mentors and tech specialists to communicate in a formal and informal setting and establish new business connections.

As part of the Sevan Startup Summit, startups participate in various seminars, workshops and master classes. In this regard, Acba Bank Deputy CEO, Director of Digital Platforms and Technologies Tigran Simonyan also gave a special speech for startups, talking about the successful experience of Acba Bank digital transformation.

“We shared with young startups the experience of the bank’s digital transformation and all the challenges we have faced since 2017, when we launched the bank’s digital transformation program. Of course, many lessons were learned that can be very useful for young startups so that they do not repeat the same mistakes. This experience will help startups succeed and become large organizations. Of course, digital transformation of business is an ongoing process, and it is necessary to build a viable business model that is ready for adaptation, development and evolution in order to withstand technological waves and develop, achieve new successes,” Simonyan noted.

Acba Bank is also the main partner of the Sevan Agritech Summit, which is held within the framework of the Sevan Startup Summit.

The bank is under the supervision of the Central Bank of Armenia.
