Armenian Card names cause of system failures

YEREVAN, August 1. /ARKA/. The Armenian national payment system, Armenian Card, announced that the failures recorded on July 23, 2025 (from 10:05 to 16:50) and July 29, 2025 (from 11:46 to 15:25) were of a technical nature.

The failures affected the availability of some services, but no cases of data leakage were recorded.

“Thanks to the efforts of our specialists, the main services continued to operate generally, and the failures were completely eliminated on the same day. An in-depth technical study is underway to prevent similar problems,” according to the statement.

ArCa CJSC also reported plans to launch a second data processing center this year to improve system reliability and recovery speed.-0-
