Average exchange rate of Armenian dram against US dollar in September was 1.2% lower year-on-year

YEREVAN, October 3. /ARKA/. In September 2025, the average exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar stood at 382.8 drams, reflecting a decrease of 1.2% from 387.4 drams in September 2024, according to the Statistical Committee of Armenia (Armstat).

In September 2025, when compared to August of the same year, consumer prices rose by 0.3%, while the exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar saw a decline of 0.1% (indicating an appreciation of the dram).

In September of this year, relative to December of the previous year, there was a 1.1% rise in consumer prices, accompanied by a 3.5% drop in the exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar.

In the corresponding period last year, consumer prices and the exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the US dollar experienced declines of 1.1% and 4.2%, respectively.-0-
