Unique destination for horseback riding and nature lovers, Yeramak, created in the village of Drakhtik in Gegharkunik region (video)

YEREVAN, October 28. /ARKA/. Karen Ghalechyan has created a unique destination for horseback riding and nature lovers, “Yeramak,” in the village of Drakhtik in the Gegharkunik region.

The Yeramak gastro yard welcomes hundreds of visitors annually, who can enjoy horseback riding in the Areguni Mountains and sample traditional Armenian dishes on-site.

“Yerramak” is one of the beneficiaries of the “Rural Tourism Development” program, implemented by the “Acba Federation” and NABU Armenia. Thanks to a grant, a bakery was installed in the guesthouse/gastro yard, giving guests the opportunity to sample freshly baked bread.

“Drakhtik is a village on the shores of Lake Sevan, where residents are primarily engaged in livestock breeding. Our contribution to the village’s recognition is significant. People from all over the world come to visit us. We approach this issue very carefully, constantly learning and participating in various seminars. Our strategy included opening a bakery and baking our traditional bread on-site. The ACBA Federation learned about our goals and helped us realize them. This is a dream come true. Anyone who fully dedicates themselves to their dream cannot fail to succeed,” said Karen Galechyan, founder of the Yeramak hippodrome.

Karen’s next goal is to transform Yeramak from a hippodrome into a resort.

The ACBA Federation is the sole major shareholder of ACBA Bank, owning over 75% of the bank’s shares. Through its participation in ACBA Bank, the ACBA Federation contributes to the development of agriculture, small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas, the development of local communities, the revival and strengthening of the business environment, and the growth of the well-being of everyone engaged in entrepreneurial activity in these areas.
