Inecobank, EU, and EIB sign €30 million portfolio guarantee agreement to support MSMEs

YEREVAN, November 27. /ARKA/. On November 25, Inecobank, the European Union, and the European Investment Bank signed a €30 million portfolio guarantee agreement in Yerevan.

The agreement aims to strengthen financial inclusion for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), according to the EU Delegation to Armenia.

The agreement  will help Armenian businesses obtain loans on more favorable terms and with reduced collateral requirements.

This initiative will support approximately 120 MSMEs and preserve approximately 1,800 jobs across the country.

The agreement  is part of the EU’s broader support to Armenia’s private sector, ranging from empowering women-led businesses to rural businesses.-0-
