Net loan portfolio of Armenian banks increased by 22.66% to 7.7 trillion drams in 2025

YEREVAN, January 23. /ARKA/. The loan portfolio of the Armenian banking system as of December 31, 2025, amounted to 7.7 trillion drams, an increase of 22.66% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024.

Moreover, this figure increased by 5.93% compared to the third quarter of 2025.

According to the ARKA news agency ranking, Ameriabank held the leading position in the banking system by loan portfolio as of the end of 2025. The bank’s lending volume amounted to 1.67 trillion drams (an increase of 27.67% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024).

Ardshinbank ranks second, with a net loan portfolio of 1.46 trillion drams (an increase of 30.29%). ACBA Bank ranked third with a net loan portfolio of AMD 736.8 billion (an increase of 17.10%).

The bank ranking by loan portfolio is based on the ARKA news agency’s bulletin, “Performance Indicators of Armenian Banks. Update for Q4 2025,” compiled based on Armenian banks’ reports published in accordance with IFRS.
