YEREVAN, March 18. /ARKA/. Cross-border remittance inflow to Armenia increased by 2.4% year-on-year in 2025, reaching $5.9 billion, according to the Eurasian Development Bank’s March macroeconomic review.
According to the bank’s analysts, the net inflow of cross-border remittances increased by 8.6% year-on-year. The main contributors were transfers from Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Fund outflow from Armenia increased slightly, by 0.3% year-on-year, primarily to Switzerland, Russia, and Israel. The EDB also notes that the net inflow of non-commercial transfers, including transfers to households, increased by 24.5% in 2025 after declining in 2023 and 2024, which provided additional support to domestic demand.
