CBA council member passed away

YEREVAN, December 11. / ARKA /. Member of the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia Grigor Ghonjeyan passed away Friday night at 51 years old, the press service of the Central Bank reported.

Ghonjeyan was born on May 1, 1959.

In 1980, he graduated from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy.

He was retrained in Bradford Center for International Development.

and worked in various Armenian banks.

Ghonjeyan was deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia in 2003-2007, a member of the Standing Committee of Political Affairs and International Cooperation of the CIS IPA.

From 2007 until 2008, he was an adviser to the Chairman of the Central Bank. On July 3, 2008 he was appointed as a member of the Council of the CBA. -0 –
