Aggregate assets of insurance companies in Armenia reach AMD 14.2 billion by late September 2009

YEREVAN, December 11. /ARKA/. Aggregate assets of insurance companies in Armenia reached AMD 14.2 billion by late September 2009 after growing 15.26% or by AMD 1.9 billion since the beginning of the year.

ARKA News Agency’s analysis shows that Ingo Armenia is the largest asset owner among 12 insurance companies functioning in Armenia.

The company has built up its assets 2.8% to AMD 2.1 billion by late September.

This company’s share in aggregate assets of Armenian insurance companies is 14.6%.

Rosgosstrakh-Armenia with its AMD 1.7 billon and 11.6% on the insurance market is the second biggest insurance company.

ISG insurance company with its 1.42 billion (10.03%) came third in ARKA News Agency’s ranking.

London-Yerevan Co, whose assets reached 1.41 billion (9.96%), and Rasco, with its 1.3 billion (8.9%) came close to the mentioned companies.

Rosgosstrakh showed the highest nine-month asset growth – 171.09%, London-Yerevan Co 30.95% and ISG 27.27%.
