YEREVAN, February 2. /ARKA/. In January 2010 compared with December 2009 inflation of 1.7% was registered due to seasonal changes of prices of several kinds of provisions.

Armenian National Statistic Service informed that in January 2010 compared with December 2009 prices of provisions (including alcohol drinks and tobacco) increased by 3.3% and nonfoods and services reduced by 0.1%.

In January 2010 compared with December 2009 the index of consumption prices was 107%. During the reporting period prices of provisions (including alcohol drinks and tobacco) increased by 3.2%, nonfoods – by 16% and services – by 9.9%.

In January 2010 compared with December 2005 index of consumption prices was 127.9% including increase of prices of provisions (including alcohol drinks and tobacco) making 26.7%, nonfoods – 20.5% and services increased by 34.1%.

In January 2010 compared with December 2009 in all the cities of Armenia consumption prices increased by 1.1-2.6% and the higher indicator was registered in Artashat. In Yerevan consumption prices were increased by 1.6%.

According to state budget by the end of 2010 inflation in Armenia is planned on the level of 4% (±1.5%). –0—
