Inecobank the leader in terms of transactions with corporate bonds

YEREVAN, February 18, /ARKA/. According to NASDAQ OMX Armenia data for January, 2010, Inecobank was the leader in terms of transactions with corporate bonds.

According to official figures, posted on its website, the volume of bank’s transactions with bonds exceeded 47.5 million Drams, which was almost half of the volume of all transactions effected at the exchange in January.

Inecobank issues non-documentary coupon and discount bonds. The government of USA, on behalf of USAID, offers a 50% guarantee for bondholders. In cooperation with USAID the bank plans to issue $9 million worth bonds to be placed by Capital Asset Management.

Inecobank was registered in 1997. It cooperates with ЕБРР, USAID, KfW, Black Sea Trade and Development Bank and other international lending organizations. -0-
