Armenian Slavonic university launches exchange trade academy program

YEREVAN, February 24, /ARKA/. The Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University launched Exchange Trade Academy program.

Arthur Yavurian, the director of the University’s Business School, told ARKA that the program is being implemented in cooperation with NASDAQ OMX Armenia exchange and Armenbrok company.

‘The main objective of the program is to teach basic principles of exchange trade to different segments of the population,’ Arthur Yavurian said.

He said both ordinary citizens as well as lawyers, journalists and banking specialists need to have such knowledge.

The programe will focus on such specialties as investment assessment, principles and mechanisms of exchange trade, a comparative analysis of stock markets, trading psychology. Lecturers are the best specialists of Armenian’s capital market. The program offers an elementary and advanced courses.  -0-
