ARKA News Agency releases quarterly bulletin on banks performance indicators

YEREVAN, May 15, /ARKA/. ARKA news agency has released a regular issue of its quarterly bulletin on Banks Performance Indicators for the first quarter of 2010. The bulletin is compiled based on unified financial reports of the banks published in press and on additional information, provided by them. It has about 60 pages of tabled material on major banking indicators categorized in 9 sections:

1.General description of banks. 2. Assets. 3. Liabilities 4. Capital 5. Profits/ Losses 6. Cash assets movement 7. Liquid and capitalization level. 8. Normative risk indicators. 9. Income and profit indicators.

The bulletin provides a general description of the financial standing of Armenian commercial banks allowing also to make a comparative analysis of their performances.

ARKA information agency was established in 1996 May 1. It is specialized in providing economic, financial and political news. It also publishes a quarterly bulletin on banks performance indicators, a quarterly bulletin about Armenian credit organizations, an annual bulletin on banks financial indicators and another quarterly bulletin on insurance companies performance. -0-
