Armenian Central Bank put into circulation silver coin “Tanacetum Zangeauricum”

YEREVAN, June 29. /ARKA/. Armenian CB put into circulation silver memorial coin “Tanacetum zangezuricum” issued in the frames of international numismatic program “Beauty of flowers”.  10000 silver coins were issued with nominal price of 1000 drams each. The coin is made from the silver of 925 probe with diameter of 38.61 mm and weight of 28.28 grams.

On the obverse side of the coin flower “Tancy of Zangezur” is sculptured. In the upper part of the circle is written in Armenian “RESPUBLICA ARMENIA” and in the lower part of the coin – “REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA” in English. On the right side of the coin flower petals and date of issue “2010”are sculptured. Around the circle nominal price of the coin – “1000” and “drams” are written.

On the reverse of the coin the flower “Tancy of Zangezur” with caulises is illustrated. In the upper  right side “Tancy of Zangezur”in Armenian and in the left side -“ Tanacetum zangezuricum” is illustrated.

The coin is scul[trured in the Mint of Germany “Mayer”. The sides of the coin was made by Edward Kurghinyan.—О—
