Credit investments and receivables of Armenian banks increased by 6.8% in the 3rd quarter

YEREVAN, October 28. /ARKA/. Volume of credit investments and receivables of Armenian banking system was 969.5 billion drams as of September 30 increased in the 3rd quarter compared with the last quarter – 61.3 billion drams or by 6.8%.

Standard credits and receivables in total bank portfolio was 930.7 billion drams or 96% at the end of September. The volume of standard credits and receivables increased by 61.5 billion drams or by 7.1%.

Volume of controlled receivables and credits was 19.3 billion drams versus 18.7 billion drams as of September 30 and non-standard credits were 14.2 billion drams versus 14 billion drams.

Volume of doubtful receivables of banking system was 5.3 billion drams versus 6.4 billion drams at the beginning of the quarter.

There are 21 banks and 400 branches as of September 30, 2010 in Armenia. ($1 – 358.62 drams). –О-
