Armenian Acba Bank is expanding its international partner network by partnering with one of the world's most respected financial institutions, The Bank of New York Mellon, the bank's press service reported.

The net inflow of non-commercial money transfers to Armenia, from abroad through the Armenian banks amounted to $303 million in January-February 2026, compared to $87.5 million in January-February 2025, according to a report from the Central Bank.

As of March 31, 2026, the total loan portfolio of Armenian banks stood at AMD 8.01 trillion, marking a 22.63% rise compared to March 31, 2025, and a 4.05% increase from December 31, 2025.

Developing Armenia's capital market is considered key to increasing the availability of long-term financing and supporting investment, economic diversification, and sustainable growth, according to the ADB's Asian Development Outlook (April 2026).
