Yerevan’s budget revenues exceeded targets by 9.7% for the first five months

YEREVAN, June 22. /ARKA/. As of May 31, 2026, Yerevan’s budget revenues totaled 40.3 billion drams, compared to the planned 36.4 billion drams for January-May, reported David Hakobyan, Acting Head of the Revenue Accounting and Collection Department at the Yerevan City Hall.

“The budget execution rate was 109.7%, with overfulfillment exceeding the target by over 3.5 billion drams,” he noted at a meeting at City Hall on Monday.

Hakobyan also reported that compared to the same period last year, the capital’s budget revenues increased by more than 9.9 billion drams.

According to Yerevan’s approved 2026 budget, revenues are projected at 151.5 billion drams, expenditures at 156.8 billion drams, and a deficit of 5.3 billion drams. The city’s own revenues are projected at 94.8 billion drams ($1 = 368.15 drams).
