Official launch of TAM/BAS programs to take place June 7 at Yerevan Golden Tulip Hotel

YEREVAN, June 6, /ARKA/. The official launch of EBRD’s TurnAround Management (TAM) and Business Advisory Service (BAS) Programs will be on Tuesday, June 7 at Golden Tulip Hotel In Yerevan. The keynote speakers are head of EBRD Yerevan Office Valeriu Razlog, deputy Armenian economy minister Karine Minasian, director of TAM/BAS programs Charlotte Ruhe, and head of European Commission’s Delegation to Armenia Raul de Lutzenberger.

The programs are funded by the European Union that has pledged additional funds of €

5 million to support both programs, which provide micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with direct assistance from experienced business advisors and consultants, helping them to adapt to the demands of a market economy.

This technical assistance from the EU is earmarked for use in the Eastern Partnership countries, which include Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. -0-
