Ameriabank Awarded A Prize “Superiority” Of Euromoney 2011 As The Best Bank Of The Year In Armenia

YEREVAN, July 8. /ARKA/. Ameriabank awarded a prize “Superiority” of the magazine Euromoney 2011 as “The best bank of the year” in Armenia, said Member of Directorate, Director of Retail Banking of Ameriabank Vazrik Sekoyan.

Official ceremony of awarding the prize took place on July 7 in London.

“As the organizers of the competition mentioned, Ameriabank was announced a winner due to effective management system, its position in the local market, introduction of new services such as financing of shopping orders, classic factoring, structural deposit, metallic accounts, as well as introduction of two commercial systems – America Global Trading which provides access to 80 largest stock markets of 19 countries worldwide and the system Web Trader which makes the commercial account accessible in any point of the world, high rates of the development of the bank, increase of assets, liabilities and capital, as well as the process of successful merging with Cascade bank and efficiency of attraction of credit resources from international structures.

Famous magazine Euromoney conducts assessment of the results of activity of the best financial structures of the world starting from 1992 giving awards in different segments. The prize Superiority” of Euromoney includes 25 prizes in different nominations of banking system and capital market.

Traditionally the banks and brokerage companies of over 100 countries participate in prize nomination.
According to the version “The Banker” of famous magazine Financial Times, Ameriabank was recognized the best Armenian bank in 2010.
