Lebanese companies interested in making investments in insurance sphere in Armenia

YEREVAN, August 5. /ARKA/. Some Lebanese companies are interested in making investments and rendering services in insurance sphere in Armenia, said Ambassador of Lebanon in Armenia Gebrael Geara during the meeting with the Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan.

Geara said that the government of Lebanon aims to make efforts in the development of Armenian-Lebanese relations.

Sargsyan thanked the Ambassador for his eight-year work in Armenia. The parties mentioned that Armenia and Lebanon having many common historical traditions and they will continue effective cooperation.

Now there are about 100 companies in Armenia with participation of Lebanese capital, mainly in the sphere of small and medium businesses. Lebanese companies working in Armenia in recent years have made investments in the banking, insurance, real estate sectors and provision of other types of services.–0–
