Volume of payments in paper form through CBA systems in the second quarter of 2011 increased 2.2 times to 2 536 billion drams

YEREVAN, September 9. /ARKA/. Volume of payments in paper form through CBA systems in the second quarter of 2011 increased 2.2 compared to the second quarter of 2010 making over 2 536 billion drams. The number of payments compared to the same period of the last year increased by 1.6% to 36134.

In accordance with the received information, these operations make 55.35% of their total volume and 3.67% of total number of payments implemented through the systems of Central Bank of Armenia.

According to the “Bulletin of Central Bank of Armenia”, in the second quarter of 2011 CBA implemented 565 mid-daily payments in paper form with the volume of 39 billion drams which is by 21 billion drams more than the indicator of the second quarter of 2010.

Average volume of one paper transfer in the reporting period increased 2.1 times compared to the same period in 2010 making 70 million drams. —0—
