Volume of mortgage loans exceeded 202.1 billion drams

YEREVAN, December 8. /ARKA/. Volume of mortgage loans provided by the Armenian commercial banks at the end of October 2011 was over 202.1 billion drams, states the bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia for October 2011.

The share of mortgage loans in total credit portfolio of the Armenian commercial banks was 17.8% in the reporting period.
According to the bulletin, average percent rate of mortgage loans in Armenia was in October 12.55% reduced by 0.15 p.p. compared to the last month.

Total volume of credits provided by Armenian commercial banks in resident economy at the end of October was over 1.1 trillion drams increased by 0.8% compared to September.
As of October 31, 2011 in Armenia 21 commercial banks were registered. ($1 – 383.62 drams).–0–
