Armenian insurance companies’ pays total AMD 2 billion in 3rd q 2011

YEREVAN, December 12. /ARKA/. Armenia’s insurance companies paid AMD 2029.6 million on insurance policies at the third quarter 2011(19.6% quarter-on-quarter growth).

According to information available on the Armenian National Statistical Service’s website, AMD 1498.9 million was paid on mandatory car insurance policies (73.9% of the total amount paid by insurance companies in the 3rd Q 2011 and 42.5% quarterly growth).

Property insurance pays totaled AMD 274.7 million (21.3% quarterly growth).

Personal insurance payments amounted to AMD 234.2 million in the third quarter after shrinking 23%, compared with the previous quarter.

Pays on liability insurance policies contracted 56.1% in the 3rd Q, compared with the 4th Q, to AMD 8.2 million.

Insurance fees totaled AMD 3092.3 million in the third quarter after growing 15.8%, compared with the previous quarter.
