Interest rates on deposits in January in Armenia reduced in average by 0.4 p.p, to 8.4%

YEREVAN, February 28. /ARKA/. Average interest rates on deposits in January in Armenia compared to the last month reduced by 0.4 p.p. reaching to 8.4%, says the site of CBA.

According to the data of CBA, average interest rates on short-term dram deposits in January was 10.15%, reduced in average by 1 p.p. compared to December.

Average rate of short-term foreign currency deposits was 5.45% registering decline in average by 0.65 p.p.

At the same time, average long-term dram deposits in the reporting period were 10.15 %, reduced by 0.7 p.p., and in foreign currency deposits – by 7.8%, reduced by 0.05 p.p. ($1- 388.67 drams). -0-
