Armenian banks raise lending to resident enterprises by 3.4% to AMD 773.6 bln in February

YEREVAN, April 4. /ARKA/. The commercial banks of Armenia allocated over 773.6 billion drams in loans to resident enterprises in February of this year, 3.4 % rise from January, according to data published on the website of Armenia’s Central Bank.

Loans in Armenian drams are said to drop by 0.8% to 153.4 billion in February from a month earlier, and credits in foreign currency – to increase by 4.5% to over 620.2 billion drams.

Loans in Armenian drams allocated to private enterprises fell by 0.8% to nearly 151 billion drams, and in foreign currency- climbed by 4.4% to 607.5 billion drams within the reported period.

Along with that, the credits in Armenian drams distributed to state enterprises rose by 4% to nearly 2.4 billion drams, and in foreign currency-by 12.2% to 12.7 billion drams. ($1 – 391.47 drams).—0–
