ARMENIAN CENTRAL BANK’S net internal assets shrink 10.9% to AMD 145 billion in February

YEREVAN, April 4. /ARKA/. Armenian central bank’s net internal assets totaled about AMD 145 billion in late February after contracting by 10.9% over the month.
According to the information available on the central bank’s official website, the banking regulator’s requirements to the government were minus AMD 88.4 billion in February against minus AMD 89.1 billion in January.
The regulator’s requirements to commercial banks shrank 17.7% in February, compared with January, to AMD 98.7 billion, while other requirements grew 2.1% to about AMD 134.7 billion.
Net international reserves grew 2.1% to AMD 417.9 billion as monetary base reduced 1.6% to AMD 562.9 billion. ($1- AMD 391.47). -0—
