YEREVAN, June 18. /ARKA/. The Russian-owned Bank VTB-Armenia and Visa announced the launch of a new marketing campaign which they called “Summer with VTB’. According to a press release by the bank, the campaign is designed for the bank’s Visa cardholders. It will run from June 15 to September 15 and its purpose is to promote cashless payments by Visa cards.

“The main prize is a trip for two to Greece. Participation is very simple: all Visa cardholders of VTB Bank (Armenia) should use their cards to pay for purchases in any trade and service outlet in the country or abroad and automatically collect bonus points depending on the purchase price and take part in the campaign, ” the bank said in a press release.

It said 100 cardholders who will collect the highest number of bonus points will automatically become participants in the drawing of 100 valuable prizes, including 49 certificates for the purchase of equipment and 50 certificates for getting the bank’s services and products at discount prices. Irina Kamkhadze, a VISA department head in charge of Armenia, Georgia and Moldova said an analysis of implemented marketing programs shows that such initiatives not only help advance cards as a tool for everyday payments, but also give additional impetus to VISA member banks here to develop this type of business.
