Credit investments and receivables of Armenia’s credit organizations jump 15.5% to AMD 147.4 bln

YEREVAN, August 14. /ARKA/. Credit investments and accounts receivables of Armenia’s credit organizations rose by 16.5 % to total of 147.4 billion drams as of June 31, according to the 2 Q review compiled by the Central Bank of Armenia.

In the total portfolio of the credit organizations, the standard loans and receivables made up 142.4 billion drams (96.6% of the total debts) against 122.8 billion drams (97.1%) as of the early second quarter, the controlled loans- over 2.3 billion drams versus nearly 2 billion drams, and non-standard – 1.3 billion drams against over 1.2 billion drams.

According to the Central Bank, the volume of “doubtful” debts of the credit organizations totaled 1.3 billion drams as of the late second quarter against 527.1 million drams from the beginning.

As of June 31 there are 32 credit organizations and 86 branches in Armenia. ($1 – 412.97 drams).—0–
