USD mortgage loans were given at 12.5% interest rate in Armenia last month

YEREVAN, August 28. /ARKA/. An average annual interest rate at which USD mortgage loans were given in Armenia shrank by 0.1 p.p. to 12.5% in July 2012 from June, according to the data available on the Central Bank’s website.

An average interest rate at which AMD mortgage loans were offered rose by 0.2% to 12.4% within the reported period. An average interest rate at which long-term AMD loans were available increased by 0.8% to 16.8% in July from a month earlier, and foreign currency loans- 13.3% ( up by 0.2 p.p.).
Short-term AMD credits were allocated at 16.8% interest rate reporting no change from June, and foreign currency credits- 13.4% in July against 13.6% in June. ($1- 409.70 drams). —0–
