Armenian banks bought $103.4 million at local forex market n September 10-14

YEREVAN, September 20. / ARKA /. Armenian commercial banks bought a total of $103.4 million at the local forex market on September 10-14 at the average exchange rate of 410.27 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia told ARKA.

It said the banks bought also over 8.6 million euros at 525.29 drams exchange rate per one euro and over 872.3 million rubles at 12.89 drams rate per one ruble. In the same time span the banks sold over $114.2 million at 411.37 drams rate, over 11.6 million euros at 527.84 drams exchange rate and over 79 million rubles at 13.08 drams exchange rate per one ruble.

Besides, from September 3 to 9 the banks provided 26 billion drams worth loans in Armenian currency and $43.2 million loans in USD. ($1 – 407.47 drams). -0-
