Consumer credits grow 1.4% up to 268.5bln drams in Armenia in August

YEREVAN, October 25. /ARKA/. Consumer credits grew by 1.4% to 268.5 bln Drams in Armenia in August as compared to July, the official website of Armenia’s Central Bank reports.

According to the report, the share of consumer credits in overall credit investments of Armenian commercial banks was 17.8% in August, a percentage point reduction compared with the month before.

Foreign currency consumer credits were about 47.5bln drams; consumer credits in drams exceeded 220.9bln drams over the period.

Total credit investments of Armenian commercial banks were 1,501.1bln drams, 64% of which were foreign currency credits. ($1=405.92AMD).–0–
