2013 Armenian budget tax and state duty revenue by AMD 118.6 billion larger than previous year’s

YEREVAN, October 30. /ARKA/. Armenia’s tax and state duty revenue is projected at AMD 992.9 billion in the 2013 government budget, Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan said Tuesday presenting the draft budget to lawmakers.

This amount is by AMD 118.6 billion larger than that projected in the 2012 government budget and exceeds the tax and state duties transferred to the budget in 2011.

Calculating the tax revenue, the ministry took into account that the new income tax law will take force on January 1, 2013 and the floor wage will rise.

He said tax and state duty receipts make up 96.25% of the consolidated budget revenue that is planned at AMD 1 trillion 31 billion 6 million – 13.2% more than that of the previous year.

In the 20013 draft budget, tax revenue is projected to make up 21.88% of GDP against the 20.73% projected in the 2012 budget.

Gabrielyan also said that about AMD 31 billion is expected to come as a result of legislative changes, and AMD 27.7 billion from application of administrative mechanisms.

“AMD 16.4 billion is expected to be received from foreign governments and international organizations in 2013 in grants,” he said. “Of this amount, 82% will come from European Union.” -0—
