Ardshininvestbank’s net profit doubled to AMD 3.2 bln in 9 months 2012

YEREVAN, October 31./ARKA/. Ardshininvestbank’s nine-month net profit rose almost twice in 2012 from the analogical period a year earlier to 3.2 billion drams, the bank said.

According to the source, the bank’s net profit hit 1.9 billion drams in the third quarter, 80.5% up from the second quarter.

“In the third quarter 2012 Ardshininvestbank was among Armenia’s 5 top leaders in the main indicators,” according to the report.

Within the reported period, the total equity of the bank climbed 13.2% to 34.7 billion drams ( the 4th place in Armenia’s banking system) from the analogical period last year.

The total assets of Ardshininvestbank jumped by 46.1% from the third quarter to 195.3 billion drams (the 5th place).

“Net credit investments of the bank rose by 46.6% (120.3 billion drams) from the analogical period a year earlier. It means that the bank is pretty active in credit activities offering a broad range of credit services. The quality of credit investments is also improved as the share of idle during 90 days and over credits slashed to 0.9% in the total loan portfolio.”

The bank’s liabilities accounted to 160.6 billion drams ( up by 55.9%). The funds received from clients hit 107.9 billion drams, from banks and financial organizations- 50.6 billion drams ( 36.4% and 123.7% rise respectively).

The number of Ardshininvestbank cards rose by over 20% to 127,000 within the nine months in 2012. Ardshininvestbank offers ArCa, MasterCard and Visa cards. The bank also introduced a new service, due to which clients can repay their credits and add money to their card accounts via Telcell terminals.

“The bank also developed and introduced softwares for iOS and Android devices, which enable clients to get information about services and news of Ardshininvestbank via smartphones and tablets,” the bank says.
