Total assets of Armenia’s credit organizations climb 4.2% to AMD 157.5 bln in 3Q

YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. The total assets of Armenia’s credit organizations climbed 4.2% in the third quarter to 157.5 billion drams as of 30 September, according to Central Bank’s report.

Cash volume of the credit organizations rose 31.3% from early this 3 Q to 442.9 million drams, and the current accounts in the banks slashed 10.5% to nearly 5.8 billion drams.

The share of loans to legal entities in the total assets of the credit organizations hiked 0.8% (22.1 billion drams). Loans to individuals jumped 1.0% to over 69.4 billion drams.

Leasing, factoring rose 14.2% to 8.3 billion drams. Credits to employees and affiliated individuals increased 2% to over 3.5 billion drams.

The volume of requirements to the banks and other financial organizations rose 11.7% to 41.3 billion drams within the reported period.

As of late September the volume of other assets tumbled 0.4% to 5.5 billion drams. The reserves for possible asset losses slashed 1.5% to 5.4 billion drams.

The principal means rose 0.6% to 2.6 billion drams. The accrued interests increased 8.1% to 1.3 billion drams.

As of September 30 there are 32 credit organizations and 90 branches in Armenia. ($1 – 409.47 drams).   —0-
