Net cash outflow from Armenian banks in third quarter amounts to 5.2 billion drams

YEREVAN, November 15. / ARKA /. Net cash outflow from Armenian banks in the third quarter of 2012 amounted to 5.2 billion drams, according to findings of an analysis made by ARKA news agency, which was based on interim financial reports of 21 banks. The balance in banks and equivalent funds stood at 411.7 billion drams against 357.8 billion drams at the end of the second quarter.

The amount of outflow of funds, generated from operating activity amounted to 69.3 billion drams and 8.8 billion drams went outside the country raised from investments activity. Also 65.5 billion drams arrived in the country generated from financing activities. The effect of exchange rate changes on cash and cash equivalents was positive amounting to more than 7.3 billion drams.

According to the analysis, 14 banks had a net cash inflow amounting to 64.6 billion drams, and 7 banks had net outflow of 69.7 billion drams. ($ 1 – 408.77 drams). -0-
