Average dollar mortgage interest rate drops 1.5 pp to 12.4% in Armenia in October

YEREVAN, December 12. /ARKA/. Average annual interest rate on dollar mortgage loans dropped by 1.5 percentage points to 12.4% in Armenia in October, says the website of Armenia’s Central Bank.

Average interest rate on dram mortgage loans fell by 0.1 percentage point to 12.6% in the period.
Average interest rate on long-term loans in drams extended by Armenian commercial banks rose by 0.15% to 16.4% in October, as compared with the month before.
Long-term loans in dollars were extended at an average of 13.35% (0.75pp increase) interest rate in October.

Short-term loans in drams were allocated at an average of 17.05% in October as compared to 16.8% in September. Average interest rate on short-term loans in foreign currency was 13.36% in October against 13.65% in the month before. ($1=406.76drams).  –0–
