Armenian Commercial Banks lend AMD 95.4 billion to agriculture sector in November

YEREVAN, December 26. /ARKA/. Armenian commercial banks lent AMD 95.4 billion to agriculture sector, including forestry and fishery, in November 2012, the Central Bank of Armenia reports.

This is 1.1% less than the result of the previous month. The agricultural loans made up 6.1% of the total lending to residents.

AMD 38.5 billion went to plant cultivation in November 2012 against AMD 38.3 billion in October – 0.5% month-on-month growth, and AMD 43.8 billion was lent to cattle-breeding farms – 2.3% month-on-month decline.

Forestry and fishery farms borrowed AMD 20.1 million and AMD 9.3 billion respectively from banks in November. ($1 – AMD 403.90). -0—
