Agricultural lending by Armenia’s credit organizations ups 5.4% to AMD 32.6 bln in February

YEREVAN, April 10. /ARKA/. Agricultural loans distributed by Armenia’s credit organizations as of February 28 totaled in 32.6 billion drams in February 2013, which was 5.4% higher from January, according to the monthly newsletter of the Central Bank.

Crop cultivation lending stood at 15.2 billion drams in the reported month versus 14.3 billion drams in January, animal breeding- 16.6 billion drams (15.8 billion drams in January).

Commerce lending by credit organizations valued at 19.7 billion drams, 2.3 percent increase from January. Retail trade lending –16.3 billion drams, wholesale lending—almost 3.1 billion drams.
Processing industry lending was 9.4 billion drams, 4.2 percent increase from January.

Food industry lending accounted for 3.6 billion drams.

As of January 28, 2013, there are 33 credit organizations in Armenia. ($1 – 418.31 drams). —0-
