A total of 1,182 ATMs operating in Armenia in Q1

YEREVAN, June 25. /ARKA/. Number of ATMs in the territory of Armenia rose by 12 in the first quarter to a total of 1,182 as of the end of March, the quarterly bulletin of Armenia’s Central Bank for Q1 reports.

Number of POS terminals grew by 9 in the period to 6,683.

According to the Central Bank, only 19 out of 21 commercial banks operating in Armenia offered plastic cards and card servicing. All these 19 banks are members of Armenian Card payment system.  –0–
