Aggregate assets of Armenian Banks upped by 10.26% to AMD 2 641,1 bln in 2Q

YEREVAN, July 26./ARKA/.Total assets of Armenia’s banking system rose by 10.26% in June 2013 from earlier this year to 2 641,1 billion drams, according to ARKA analyses.

Ameriabank’s assets accounted for 13.8% of all banks.  The assets of Ameriabank climbed by 59.5% in June from earlier this year to 366.3 billion drams.

ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK is ranked second with 260.9 (+ 5.46%), VTB Bank (Armenia) – 259.9 billion drams ( + 23.02%), Ardshininvestbank – over 233.4 billion drams ( plus 17.61%) and HSBC Bank Armenia-nearly 221.9 billion drams (+ 4.97%).

As of 30 June 2013, there are 21 commercial banks in Armenia. ($1 – 410.66 drams). —0-
