Total amount of time individual and private entrepreneurs bank deposits increased by 5.4% in third quarter to 704.4 billion drams

YEREVAN, November 27. / ARKA /. The total amount of time deposits kept by individuals and private entrepreneurs in 21 Armenia-based commercial banks increased by 5.4% in the third quarter from the previous one to about 704.4 billion drams as of September 30, according to the banks’ interim financial reports for the third quarter.

The leading bank by size of deposits owned by individuals and private entrepreneurs was VTB Bank (Armenia ), which accounted for 11% of all time deposits – more than 78 billion drams, by almost 32 percent more from the previous quarter.

The next was Unibank – about 75.7 billion drams (15.2 percent growth compared with the previous quarter), Ardshininvestbank – more than 64.8 billion drams (17.83 % growth), ArmBusinessBank – 61.8 billion drams (up 32.08 %) and ACBA -CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK – 61.3 billion drams (22.36% rise).

The total amount of deposits of individuals and legal entities kept in banks amounted to more than 1. 363. 8 trillion drams, while the 21 banks’ total liabilities in the reporting period amounted to more than 2.274.6 trillion drams. ($ 1 – 404.23 drams). -0
