Loan portfolio of Armenian banks’ branches in Karabakh totaled 82,832.9 mln drams as of January 14, 2014

STEPANAKERT, January 14. /ARKA/. Total loan portfolio of branch offices of Armenia’s commercial banks in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) amounted to 82,832.9 million drams as of January 1 2014, an increase of 4.3% compared to the same period of 2013.

Increase against December 2013 was 8.5%, NKR’s statistical service reported.

Loans in foreign currency accounted for 54.9% of the overall lending, and overdue loans were 0.9%.
As of January 1, deposits in affiliate offices of Armenia’s commercial banks in NKR amounted to a total of 55,901.2 million drams, an increase of 13.4% compared to the same period of 2013 and a 4.5% increase against the month before.

According to the report, 73.8% of deposits are term deposits, 18.5% is call deposits and 7.7% is target deposits. –0—
