Share of non-performing assets at Armenia’s commercial banks 3.94% in Dec 2013

YEREVAN, February 17. /ARKA/. The share of non-performing written-off assets of Armenian residents at Armenia’s banks was 3.94% in December 2013 – 1.36% less than in November, the Central Bank of Armenia says in its monthly bulletin.

Consumer loans’ share in non-performing assets was biggest – 1.8%, trade loans made up 0.68% of non-performing assets, the loans extended to the processing industry 0.56% and to construction about 0.45%.
The share of mortgage loans was 0.30%, that of the loans extended to the catering sector 0.17%, to agriculture 0.17% and to other areas 0.18%. There are no non-performing assets in the financial sector.

Armenian commercial banks assets totaled about AMD 2943.7 billion in late December 2013.
