Last week Central Bank sold $3.1 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia exchange

YEREVAN, April 14. / ARKA /. Last week Armenia’s Central Bank sold $3.1 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange at 415.73 drams per one USD. The regulator said it did not make currency interventions in the previous week.

The regulator has been making periodic currency market interventions from the start of the year, having sold $137 million and having bought $7.75 million.

The average exchange rate of the U.S. dollar against the Armenian national currency, the dram, has risen by 2% from the beginning of the year, the Central bank said. ($ 1 – 415.44 drams).  -0-
