Loan portfolio of Armenia’s banks in Karabakh fell to 75,840.6mln drams as of April 1

STEPANAKERT, April 18. /ARKA/. Total loan portfolio of Armenia’s commercial banks in Nagorno-Karabakh fell by 3.1% to 75,840.6 million as of April 1, 2014, compared to the same period of the year before, ArmStat reported. It has been a reduction of 2.8% compared to the month before.

Forex loans accounted for 53.5% of the loan portfolio; the share of overdue loans was 1.2%.

Bank deposits amounted to 56,637.1 million drams as of April 1, 2014, an increase of 10.9% against the same period of 2013 and of 2.8% compared to the month before.

Time deposits account for 74.5%, call deposits for 17.7% and target deposits for 7.8%, according to the report.  –0—
