Gold price ups 0.5 percent in Armenia to 15.859 drams per one gram

YEREVAN, May 12. / ARKA /. The State Depository of Precious Stones and Metals Agency, an affiliation of Armenian Finance Ministry, has set new prices for government agencies to buy and sell precious stones and metals which are effective for this week.

The prices are for one gram of chemically pure metals.

It said the buying price of gold grew from last week by 0.5% or 83.59 drams to 15,859.23 drams. The gold selling price is set at 17,238.29 drams, down by 90.85 drams.

Silver is to be bought at 237.58 drams (up 1.66 drams) and sold at 258.24 drams (up 1.81 drams; platinum is to be bought at 17,607.84 drams (up 215.06 drams) and sold at 19,138.96 drams (up 233.76 drams); palladium is to be bought at 9,887.3 drams (up 1.84 drams), and sold at 10,747.07 drams (up 2 drams).
