$96 million bought by banks at Armenia’s intra-bank forex market last week

YEREVAN, July 21. /ARKA/. Commercial banks bought 96 million US dollars at Armenia’s intra-bank forex market over a period between July 14 and 18 at 406.6 drams per one dollar, on average, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reports.

It has also become known from the press release that about 6.2 million euros and 984.25 million Russian rubles were bought here over the same period at 551.43 drams, on average, per one euro and 11.72 drams per one ruble.

The banks sold $99.7 million, €15.2 million and 246.8 million rubles here at 407.7 drams, 554.83 drams and 11.9 drams respectively. Armenia’s banks lent AMD 36.2 billion and $43.1 million over a period from July 7 to 13. ($1 – AMD 406.62). —-0—
