HayPost and Russian post sign agreement to implement fast money remittances via Forsage system

YEREVAN, December 15th. / ARKA /. Armenia’s national postal operator HayPost and Russian Post    have signed an agreement to implement express money transfers between the two countries by using Forsage system.

Under the agreement, HayPost and Russian Post will connect their post offices (44,000 in Russia and 900 in Armenia) through the “Forsage” system, HayPost said in a press release.

The citizens in both countries can use this new system to send and receive money transfers fast and at very competitive rates from any post office in Russia to any post in Armenia and vice versa, including those in the most remote rural areas.

The new system is scheduled to come online in the first quarter of 2015.

As part of the agreement, HayPost and Russian Post have agreed to develop e-commerce between the two countries.-0-
