$79.7 million bought by commercial banks at Armenia’s intra-banking forex market

YEREVAN, July 20. /ARKA/. Commercial banks bought $79.7 million at 477.81 drams per one dollar at Armenia’s intra-banking foreign exchange market over a period between July 13 and 18, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reports.

They also bought €9.6 million and 1.2 billion Russian rubles at the mentioned period at 523.1 drams and 8.37 drams respectively.

Commercial banks sold $90.7 million, €14.9 million and 266.9 million at the intra-banking forex market over the same period at 479.17 drams, 529.66 drams and 8.52 drams respectively.

The loans extended by Armenia’s commercial banks in drams amounted to $29.4 billion, and dollar loans totaled $41.3 million at a period between July 6 and 12. ($1 – AMD 480.28). –0–
